Fernlea is a magnificent building, built approximately 1910, which was formerly the home of Sir Douglas Crawford, Lord Lieutenant of Merseyside and head of the world famous biscuit company.
Fernlea has a beautiful, naturally landscaped garden with a patio, ornamental pond, grassed area and numerous mature trees, which have always been a focal point of pride in the the local community.
As Fernlea is dual registered, we can offer both long and short term, nursing and residential care under one roof.
Fernlea is easily accessible by car or public transport and convenient for local shopping on Rose Lane and Allerton Road, as well as Greenbank Park and Sefton Park.
Fernlea is located in an established area of Liverpool and occupies a corner position at the junction of North Mossley Hill Road and Park Avenue.
